La Chemisette - Details

Our summery Chemisettes are made from upcycled vintage silk scarves and buttons.

Each scarves are hand cut one by one following a couture technique that allows to cut delicate fabrics with the minimum loss of fabric possible, and all sewn by the same worker from start to finish in the spirit of a more traditional craft that we wish to pursue.

Each piece is one-of-a-kind, as is each scarf, with possible variations in thickness and flaws inherent to the age/ of the silk. Thus you may find imperfections here and there, we believe this is part of the beauty of the piece.
